ROTARY CLUB OF ALAMOGORDO SCHOLARSHIPS

Medical Careers Scholarship

Amount: $750

Open to enrolled students pursuing a degree or certificate in a medical career field at NMSU-A or

NMSU or NMSU Dona Ana Branch if program not offered at NMSU-A. Applications are available at

the NMSU-A Financial Aid Office or at this link: Medical Careers Application

Criteria: Must be a resident of Otero County; be enrolled in a degree/certification program at NMSU-A

or Dona Ana Branch; have earned a GPA of at least 2.5; have completed the three page application correctly, legibly,

and completely.

Deadline: April 13, 2009 for school year 2009-2010.

Billie Holder Memorial Rotary Scholarship

Amount: $750.

Open to returning students pursuing any academic degree. Applications are available at the NMSU-A

Financial Aid Office or at this link: Billie Holder Scholarship

Criteria: Must be a resident of Otero Coutny; have completed (or will complete) freshman year;

have a 2.5 GPA or better; be enrolled as a full-time student at NMSU or NMSU-A; have completed the three page

application correctly, legibly, and completely.

Deadline: April 13, 2009 for school year 2009-2010

Continuing Student Award Scholarship

Amount: $750

Open to recipients of one of the above scholarships. Must have maintained satisfactory

grade and course requirements for program or degree in which enrolled.

Use same applications as above.

Jerry and Patricia Johnson Scholarship

Open to residents of Otero County for the purpose of advancing education orskills by students attending a

University, College, Community or Junior College, Trade or Vocational School or Training Course.
